Made in Japan, this three-sided guard surrounds your cooking area to help contain splattering oil and grease from frying, sautéing, and other high-heat cooking. A raised upper panel provides additional coverage where splatters are most likely to escape.
The hinged stainless steel panels unfold to create a generous cooking shield, then fold completely flat to just 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) thick for compact storage beside the stove or in a cabinet. The panels can also be disassembled for easier cleaning, making this a practical alternative to permanently installed stove guards.
Made from durable chromium stainless steel with stainless steel support rods, it measures approximately 15.9 x 9.7 x 15.4 inches (40.3 x 24.7 x 39 cm) when open. Dishwasher safe when disassembled, this thoughtfully designed Japanese kitchen tool makes cleanup after frying noticeably easier.
