It dates back to the late 18th century, when local samurai developed this unique technique using the bark of mountain cherry trees. Valued for its strength and ability to regulate humidity, it is ideal for tea canisters, trays, and other daily items. We ship from our U.S. warehouse, usually within 2 business days. U.S. standard shipping is $15, with free shipping on orders over $199. Two-day shipping is $25, or $10 on orders over $199. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
