Description

The Turkish Blue Coffee Cup & Saucer reflects the clear light of morning, its turquoise glaze glowing with a brightness that feels both refreshing and calm. Crafted in Hasami ware, the cup rests gently in the hand with slender lines and a soft matte surface that adds a quiet elegance. The saucer mirrors this simplicity, creating a balanced pair that brings harmony to the eye.

Used together they form a graceful set, yet each piece holds its own appeal. The cup welcomes coffee, tea, or even a small serving of warm soup, while the saucer can easily hold a favorite sweet or seasonal fruit. Subtle variations in glaze give depth and character, reminding you of the artisan’s hand behind each piece.

Beyond its beauty, the set enriches small daily rituals. It offers color that lifts the spirit, calm that lingers after the last sip, and a gentle presence that makes ordinary moments feel more considered.

More Details

Hasami ware

Hasami ware, a traditional porcelain from Nagasaki Prefecture, has been crafted for over 400 years in the town of Hasami\just about 10 kilometers from Arita, the birthplace of Japanfs porcelain. While Arita ware flourished as an art form known for its elaborate decorations and luxury appeal, Hasami developed as a center for everyday tableware, valued for its practicality and refined simplicity. During the Edo period, Hasami became one of Japanfs main producers of daily-use porcelain, supplying durable and beautifully made pieces to households across the country. That spirit continues today, as Hasami artisans blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design, creating timeless and often playfully charming tableware that fits perfectly into contemporary life.

Drinkware

Japanese drinkware spans many beverage types—from green tea, matcha, and coffee to whiskey and sake. Porcelain, ceramic, glass, and even natural and lacquered wood are commonly used for traditional teaware, sakeware, matcha bowls, whiskley glasses, and coffee gear. Households often have different sets and individual pieces that they use for specific seasons, occasions, and beverage varieties.
