The Rinka Petal Pasta Bowl combines rustic charm with refined craftsmanship, making it a versatile piece for everyday dining. Crafted in Mino Ware, it is formed using a special clay mold that gives porcelain the textured warmth of earthenware. Artisans hand-apply multiple layers of glaze, creating a subtle unevenness that enhances its organic beauty and calming presence on the table.

Durable yet lightweight, the bowl is resistant to chipping while remaining easy to handle, making it practical for daily use. The scalloped petal rim frames food beautifully, lending a graceful finish that elevates both simple and elaborate dishes.

Perfectly sized for pasta, pastries, or individual entrées, it also suits Japanese meals such as ichiju-sansai, where balance and presentation matter. Blending traditional artistry with modern appeal, the Rinka Petal Pasta Bowl brings warmth, elegance, and versatility to any dining experience.

Mino Ware

Mino ware refers to pottery traditionally made in Japan’s eastern Gifu Prefecture, primarily in Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kani. This ancient method of producing elegant, durable ceramics has roots going back over 1300 years to Japan’s Kofun period in the 7th century. Typically found nested into the mountainsides, the unique kilns used to produce Mino ware are often referred to as anagama kilns, and the master artisans producing these stunning products continue to adhere to rigid standards to produce only the highest quality ceramics.
