Description

Cooking hot pot at home is a small celebration shared around the table. This set brings together three essential tools that make the experience smoother, cleaner, and more enjoyable. Each piece features a warm wooden handle and stainless steel finish, designed to feel comfortable in the hand and reliable through years of use.

The perforated ladle helps you lift ingredients gently while leaving the broth behind. The standard ladle is ideal for serving soup or scooping generous portions of your favorite hot pot dishes. The skimmer is designed to remove foam and small impurities that naturally rise to the surface while simmering. This keeps the broth clear and helps maintain a clean, balanced flavor throughout the meal. Using them together creates an easy, organized flow that feels natural during shared meals.

Crafted with care by Japanese makers, this set reflects practical design rooted in everyday cooking traditions. It is a dependable trio for family gatherings, cozy winter nights, and anyone who enjoys preparing hot pot with ease.

Whenever we make nabe at home, this 3-piece tool set is always on the table. Thoughtfully designed and beautiful to look at, it includes everything you need to enjoy hot pot comfortably. Here’s why I love it:

Nami’s Pick portrait

1. Everything You Need, Nothing Extra

This set includes the three essentials for hot pot: a ladle, a skimmer, and a slotted spoon. That’s all you need to cook, portion, and serve straight from the pot.

I love how streamlined it feels—no clutter on the table, just the right tools within easy reach for everyone to share.

2. Warm, Matching Wood Handles

The matching wooden handles instantly elevate the table. They feel warm and inviting alongside a donabe and are comfortable to hold during a long, relaxed meal.

It’s a small detail that makes a simple dinner feel special.

3. Designed for Easy Portioning

Each tool is shaped for smooth, precise serving. The ladle portions broth cleanly, the skimmer clears excess foam for a cleaner broth, and the slotted spoon lifts vegetables, tofu, or noodles without extra liquid.

The design is both beautiful and practical—exactly what I look for in everyday Japanese kitchen tools.

This is the set I bring out every winter—and anytime friends gather around a simmering pot. If you love nabe as much as we do, I think you’ll appreciate having it on your table, too.

FAQ

Can I add a gift message to my order?

Yes. You may add a personalized gift message of up to 250 characters at checkout — it is printed on a card and included inside the package. Prices and order details are never shown on the card or anywhere in the shipment, so the recipient sees only your message and the gift itself.

Will my order be wrapped as a gift?

Yes. Every JOC Goods order is wrapped in a traditional Japanese furoshiki cloth before shipping at no extra charge — both gifts and personal orders. If your order includes many or large items, the furoshiki may be packed inside the box rather than wrapped around them. Prices are never included in any shipment.
