The Imperial Blossom Sauce Dish by Shobido Honten is a round dish crafted in the Imari ware tradition and faithfully reproduced in the Ko-Imari style. Inspired by the elegance of the Rinpa art movement from the Edo period (1603–1868), this design features trees and florals in bold compositions, accented with lavish gold detailing.

Set against a deep indigo background, chrysanthemum blossoms bloom beautifully on white porcelain, with delicate garden trees framed in decorative “windows.” Whether used for celebratory meals or everyday dining, this luxurious small dish is perfect for serving soy sauce, pickles, condiments, or small delicacies.
