Celebrate connection and quiet beauty with the Golden Brass Sake Cup, thoughtfully designed to enhance the joy of sharing sake. Inspired by the Japanese concept of yoine, the lingering “evening sound” that follows a heartfelt toast, this cup turns each gentle clink into a soft, resonant note that deepens the experience.

When paired with the Black Meditation Bowl Striker, the cup transforms into both a meditation bowl and a singing bowl. When tapped gently, it produces a clear, ringing tone. When the outer wall is slowly circled, it creates calming, meditative vibrations that invite mindfulness and stillness.

As a sake vessel, the cup has a satisfying weight that rests comfortably in the hand and encourages slow, intentional sipping. The warm golden brass finish brings an understated elegance to any setting, whether it's a daily ritual or a special moment with loved ones.

Whether you're enjoying a quiet evening alone or raising a glass in celebration, the Golden Brass Sake Cup brings together sound, touch, and taste in one beautifully crafted form. A timeless companion for those who cherish tradition, thoughtful design, and meaningful connection.

Note: The Black Meditation Bowl Strikeris not included.

Sake Cup

Japanese sake cups are small drinking cups that come in a variety of shapes and sizes for ceremonial occasions to everyday use. The most common type is o-choko, a smaller cup that often comes in a set with a carafe (tokkuri). Another popular type is the slightly larger guinomi. Sake cups are made from clay, porcelain, glass, lacquerware, and even tin. A cup's material and shape are said to affect the aroma and flavor of the sake. These cups are a popular collectible tableware item.

FAQ

Can I add a gift message to my order?

Yes. You may add a personalized gift message of up to 250 characters at checkout — it is printed on a card and included inside the package. Prices and order details are never shown on the card or anywhere in the shipment, so the recipient sees only your message and the gift itself.

Will my order be wrapped as a gift?

Yes. Every JOC Goods order is wrapped in a traditional Japanese furoshiki cloth before shipping at no extra charge — both gifts and personal orders. If your order includes many or large items, the furoshiki may be packed inside the box rather than wrapped around them. Prices are never included in any shipment.
