Its gently raised rim and subtle pedestal base provide both beauty and function, making it ideal for serving desserts, small side dishes, or simply as a decorative accent. The glossy white porcelain surface highlights the intricate details of the hand-painted motif, turning even the simplest serving into a refined presentation.

Hizen Yoshida Ware

Hizen Yoshida ware originates from the historic Hizen region spanning Saga and Nagasaki Prefectures. Its roots trace back to 1598, when porcelain making began in the Yoshida area of Ureshino under the patronage of the Nabeshima clan. Using fine local clay and porcelain stone, artisans refined their skills alongside Arita ware while developing a simple, graceful style of their own. Today, local kilns continue to produce porcelain that blends timeless craftsmanship with designs suited to modern living.
