Description
Bring tradition and refinement to your tea ritual with the Crimson Radiance Teapot, a handcrafted piece of Tokoname ware. As one of Japan’s six ancient kilns, Tokoname has been celebrated for centuries for its red clay teapots, and this vessel continues that legacy with a timeless yet functional design.
Formed from natural shudei clay, its deep crimson hue emerges during an oxidizing firing process that enhances the iron-rich minerals of the earth. Tea enthusiasts value this clay for the way it interacts with tea, subtly enriching flavor and aroma with every brew. The wide body provides room for leaves to unfurl fully, while the snug lid and finely shaped spout ensure a smooth, balanced pour.
Blending tradition with modern practicality, the Crimson Radiance Teapot includes a removable fine-mesh stainless steel strainer, making it ideal for all types of loose-leaf teas. Elegant in form and rich in heritage, it brings both beauty and depth to everyday tea moments.

Tokoname Ware
Tokoname ware is one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns, with a history of over 1,000 years. Made in Tokoname City on the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture, it uses local clay rich in iron that hardens at low temperatures and becomes naturally water-resistant when fired. This distinctive clay produces the shudei style, unglazed pottery with a warm reddish hue, most famously seen in Tokoname teapots. Known for their smooth pour and ability to bring out the gentle flavor of tea, these teapots embody both practicality and refined simplicity.Teaware
