The Blue Dot Mini Condiment Bowl blends playful charm with practical function. Made with Mino ware porcelain, this petite bowl features a teardrop silhouette and a delicate trail of indigo dots hand-painted inside and along the rim. The rounded form is soft to the touch, while the subtle glaze highlights the natural beauty of the porcelain.

A tiny pouring spout adds thoughtful functionality, perfect for serving soy sauce, dressings, or a dash of olive oil. You can also use it for salt, wasabi, or a small sweet—ideal for both everyday meals and seasonal gatherings. Its clean white-and-blue design complements both modern and traditional Japanese tableware.

Whether placed on a lacquered tray with tea sweets or on a dining table alongside shared dishes, this bowl brings a hint of elegance to small moments. The simplicity of its form invites you to enjoy the textures and colors of the foods it holds, while the charming dots add a gentle accent to your table.

Condiment Bowl

These small bowls come in many shapes and serve different purposes. They are generally suitable for condiments, dry seasonings like salt, garnishes, toppings, soy sauce for sashimi, pickles, small delicacies, and butter and jam. Deeper small dishes shaped like a cup are suitable for noodle dipping sauce. Tiny bowls are a popular size to collect thanks to their visual interest, compact size, and usefulness.

Mino Ware

Mino ware refers to pottery traditionally made in Japan’s eastern Gifu Prefecture, primarily in Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kani. This ancient method of producing elegant, durable ceramics has roots going back over 1300 years to Japan’s Kofun period in the 7th century. Typically found nested into the mountainsides, the unique kilns used to produce Mino ware are often referred to as anagama kilns, and the master artisans producing these stunning products continue to adhere to rigid standards to produce only the highest quality ceramics.
