The Rustic Farmhouse Bread Chopstick Rest looks so much like a freshly baked loaf that it may bring a smile to the table before the meal even begins. Shaped from natural clay and hand-painted with care, it captures the golden crust, flour-dusted surface, and hearty character of rustic bread. Each piece is slightly different, carrying the warmth of the artisan’s touch.

Larger than many chopstick rests, it comfortably holds forks, knives, or spoons as well as chopsticks, making it a versatile companion for both casual and festive dining. Its playful, rustic design pairs beautifully with wooden boards or simple table linens, adding a touch of farmhouse charm to any setting.

Perfect for everyday enjoyment or as a thoughtful gift for bread lovers, this piece turns an ordinary table into something welcoming and memorable. It is a small but delightful reminder of the comfort that comes with sharing good food together.

Chopstick Rest

When setting the table for a Japanese meal, chopstick rests (hashioki) are a must-have item. These rests are essential for hygiene so the chopsticks don’t touch the table. They are also a wonderful way to add whimsy, charm, and a personal touch to your table setting. With so many themes and designs to choose, chopstick rests are quite popular to collect. It's fun to switch them up for different seasons, menus, and occasions.

Mino Ware

Mino ware refers to pottery traditionally made in Japan’s eastern Gifu Prefecture, primarily in Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kani. This ancient method of producing elegant, durable ceramics has roots going back over 1300 years to Japan’s Kofun period in the 7th century. Typically found nested into the mountainsides, the unique kilns used to produce Mino ware are often referred to as anagama kilns, and the master artisans producing these stunning products continue to adhere to rigid standards to produce only the highest quality ceramics.
