The Pretzel Chopstick Rest brings a playful twist to the table. Shaped like a miniature pretzel, it looks so realistic that it might tempt you to reach for a bite. The glossy glaze captures the golden brown of baked dough, while small white accents resemble grains of salt sprinkled on top. This attention to detail gives the piece a warmth that immediately sparks smiles.

In Japanese dining, chopstick rests are a thoughtful part of tableware, keeping chopsticks clean while adding character to each setting. Here, the familiar form of a pretzel introduces a touch of humor and surprise, blending everyday function with lighthearted charm.

Small yet full of personality, the Pretzel Chopstick Rest is perfect for casual dinners with friends, family gatherings, or moments when you want to bring a little cheer to your meal. Collect it alongside other food-inspired rests to create a setting that is as fun as it is functional.

Chopstick Rest

When setting the table for a Japanese meal, chopstick rests (hashioki) are a must-have item. These rests are essential for hygiene so the chopsticks don’t touch the table. They are also a wonderful way to add whimsy, charm, and a personal touch to your table setting. With so many themes and designs to choose, chopstick rests are quite popular to collect. It's fun to switch them up for different seasons, menus, and occasions.

Mino Ware

Mino ware refers to pottery traditionally made in Japan’s eastern Gifu Prefecture, primarily in Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kani. This ancient method of producing elegant, durable ceramics has roots going back over 1300 years to Japan’s Kofun period in the 7th century. Typically found nested into the mountainsides, the unique kilns used to produce Mino ware are often referred to as anagama kilns, and the master artisans producing these stunning products continue to adhere to rigid standards to produce only the highest quality ceramics.
