Founded in 1987 by potter Mitsuaki Ezoe, Kourin Kiln creates tableware that celebrates the serene beauty of hand-painted Gosu, the traditional cobalt-blue pigment used in Japanese ceramics. Each piece is painted by hand without stamps or transfers, using the kiln’s own pigments to bring subtle depth and individuality to every design.
