Description

Bold, textured, and beautifully imperfect, the Silver Rustic Finish Sake Set offers a striking contrast to traditional porcelain wares. Handcrafted in the historic Arita region, this set includes a sake flask and matching cup — each finished with a rich, dark glaze and layered with irregular silver flecks and bands for a weathered, almost metallic look.

The flask’s organic silhouette and the cup’s wide, footed form are both designed to highlight the tactile quality of the glaze. No two pieces are exactly alike, with subtle variations in tone and texture that reflect the artisanal nature of the craft. The rustic finish invites touch and attention, making each sip of sake a grounded, sensory experience.

Perfect for design lovers, collectors of wabi-sabi aesthetics, or anyone who appreciates the beauty of aged elegance, this set adds depth and drama to any sake ritual.

Enhance your home bar with our curated selection of Sake & Bar Ware for every occasion.

More Details

Toetsu Kiln

Founded in 1641 in Arita, Saga Prefecture, Toetsu Kiln has been passed down through fourteen generations of potters. While Arita ware is often known for its painted white porcelain, Toetsu is celebrated for its distinctive glazes. With a wide range of original formulas, each piece reveals unique crystallization and depth. Blending Japanese elegance with a touch of Western charm, Toetsu Kiln creates tableware that feels both timeless and alive in daily life.

Arita Ware

Arita porcelain originates from an area known as Arita on the Island of Kyushu, Japan. It is known as the birthplace of fine Japanese porcelain, and the artisans of Arita have produced exceptional ceramic works for more than 400 years. The beautiful contrast between the porcelain and the hand-painting is obtained by using exceptionally high-quality porcelain stone, allowing the glazed surface to display a distinct glossy mirror with a rich ivory luster.
