I am incredibly humbled and honored that you've taken the time to visit our store.

After working on this project for over six months, I couldn’t be more excited to release our latest labor of love.

It has been my dream for my readers and anyone who enjoys cooking Japanese food to have a complete and authentic experience at home with high-quality Japanese tableware and kitchenware. From this simple vision came JOC Goods.

The Journey

Before I embarked on this journey, I had many questions and doubts. As many of us know, starting a business is no simple feat. It requires more than just a vision; it demands the willingness to work tirelessly and the courage to take risks, even if failure is a possibility. I already have the demanding job running Just One Cookbook. Could I really pull this off?

When I met with the artisans and craftsmen we work with in Japan this past summer, I realized that JOC Goods would be something bigger than my original vision. Watching these artisans at work touched a deeper part of my heart, inspiring me to share their art, dedication, and craftsmanship with the world.

With a greater meaning added to my lifelong passion, I knew I could pour my heart and soul into this new venture. So here I am, sharing JOC Goods with you.

What Can You Expect from Our Collections?

• Along with my team, I handpicked and curated every piece in the store. 
• Quality is of utmost importance to me. In a world overflowing with low-quality, disposable items, I want to bring you only high-quality pieces designed to last a lifetime. Each piece carries a story and grows more meaningful with time.
• From modern interpretations to traditional motifs, our Japanese tableware offers beauty, joy, and practicality. Our kitchenware represents true craftsmanship, honed over centuries of Japanese techniques.
• I also make sure that these collections are unique and not easily found outside of Japan. But with JOC Goods, we can now ship them directly to you.

This marks the start of our journey! I look forward to sharing the creative process of how we’ll bring beauty and create memories at the table as we gather our loved ones for everyday meals and special occasions.
